A night of three acts

Dream Series : Night 3

My dreams racing twice the normal speed, were they making up for a body destined to Iay still?.

The musical box opened and was given its time to play. A set of green head matches appeared unevenly displayed, slowly their act began to take its shape. They danced and twirled, their synchronized green heads, they moved around in circles, precision took the stage.

My eyes opened, change to second act.

A great party was around me, every guest was color black. A girl with curly hair held me at her side, she was holding a baby, clearly it was mine. I might have been a guest of honor, but I wasn’t widely known, I could hear the whispers, the looks that wondered where I’m from. Rooms kept opening in this old southern state, guests kept showing, none of them I’d met.

Eyes opened, my empty room cold and stale. Take me to the land of dreams, let me hide under its vail.

Time to cheers is what I’m being told, a drink made of wonders only from this world. The master of this craft approaches, offers me a glass, inside three fruit slices glow over the ice. Behind the master sits a green device, a rusted old push cart, not much to meet the eye. Quickly my disappointment proves deceiving, I witness the whole crowd revering. This truly must be sacred, that rust dating centuries and decades.

My encounter now surrounded by the crowd.

Take a final look around, reality is calling, safe travels back to ground.
